Write-Up for Draft Workshop 14 April 2009 Adam, I thought that your paper was really interesting and addresses an important aspect of climate change that should be discussed in the future in international organizations like the United Nations. Your paper not only addresses scholarly arguments that support your argument, but also those that involve climate change skepticism. This was effective in presenting your argument. Your examples, particularly in Africa, SE Asia, and the Middle East were not only interesting, but also relevant. I have included in this write-up some comments that I hope are helpful to you as the revision stage of your essay. A) Describe in your own words the topic and thesis (or hypothesis) of your classmate’s research project. a. Having read the paper, the thesis of your project states that there is a causal relationship between climate change and security conflict. This thesis was clearly addressed in the essay.
