Hint: You need not ﬁnd an antiderviative in # 3 and 8 — you have to look at them the right way ﬁrst, then not much work is required. Review the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Nontext problem: 1. * Evaluate the integral 2 π Z  xπ  x 22 πx + π 2 + 1 sin x dx. * Problems marked with an asterisk are considered challenging. Do the best you can, and try not to get discouraged if you don’t solve them completely. Challenging questions will also appear on the tests and exam, but they will be worth about 5% at the most, and will be balanced by easy questions near the beginning....
