EE4150 DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING Lab Demo Session Objective The objective of this first lab test, it is to get the student familiar with the VAB (Visual Application Builder) Software. This package creates a visual environment to process real-time applications into the DSP TI ’C31 DSK Board. Laboratory Setup: The lab in Room 133 (EE Building) provides 6 computers equipped with single-input single output TI ’C31 DSK Boards. Each board has an input and output connection through a RCA plug. These boards could handle input signals coming from a personal Walk-man Radio or CD-player. The output could be connected to standard headphones to hear the output signal processed by the DSP board. Lab Rules: Each computer can be shared only by a group of two students. The computer usage is limited to a maximum of one hour if there are persons waiting. The computers are assigned based on a first-come first-serve policy.
