The growth rate of an airport can be extremely important information for commercial airlines, travelling passengers, and residents of the area. Data will be developed and examined using several variables in order to provide valuable information to said parties regarding different aspects of airport growth. different factors such as the price of airline tickets, the income of the residents living around the area of the airport, the population of said area, the number of airlines the airport serves, the number of terminals the airport has space for, the price of oil, the preferences of passengers, and the overall state of the economy. This paper plans to analyze the effects some of these variables may have on the growth of Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California. The growth rate of an airport can be extremely important information for commercial airlines, travelling passengers, and residents of the area. BACKGROUND Bob Hope Airport is located in Burbank, California; just 30 miles from the third most busiest airport in the United States, Los Angeles International. Bob Hope serves seven commercial airlines, two cargo carriers, and over an average of 4.5 million passengers per year (as of 2010). Because of it’s central location in the LA area and small amount of traffic in comparison to their counterpart airport LAX, Bob Hope Airport is widely known to Southern California travelers as the most
