This company called Insulflex makes high temperature items, even custom items.
They make a
high temp rope and sealants in which we can use for the handle.
Fire is hot: wood burning fire range between 2100-2700 degrees Fahrenheit, propane and gas
range between 1500-1800 degrees.
We can make two versions, a clear one and a steel one, two tier marketing? Tungsten and Carbon
have extremely high melting points, (*up to 6700 degrees F).
Carbon isn’t a metal, but Tungsten
Glass would work as well, however only for propane/gas fire pits, the melting point is 2900
