The Solution Make main entrance to campus more impressive More landscaping around the entrance of campus Design an impressive campus entrance. We have chosen the area of 13 th and Agate. The reason why we have chosen this site is that most GPS devices will give directions to this area if you plug in University Of Oregon. This is by Oregon Hall were most enrollment services are held. There is also a sign for the University of Oregon on the corner of Franklin Boulevard and Agate. On Agate there is a wide lawn beside the side walk that would be the area we would work within. Here we will build pillars on both sides of 13 th street along Agate. These pillars will be 2 stories in heights, made of brick similar in design and material as the pillars on Kincaid and 13 th. Landscaping will be included around the pillars to enhance the entrance even more. Around the Pillars and leading up to those for a city block will be a garden. We want this garden to be a perpetual garden where something is always green or flowering. The landscaping will
