EEE174 CpE185 Laboratory Fall 2011 1 Propeller Lab Part 1: Introduction to the Propeller microcontroller: In this section, you will begin familiarizing yourself with the Propeller microcontroller both hardware and software. You will setup and test the propeller PEKit. Examine the PEkit and documentation; Propeller Manual and PE Labs Fun Book . Complete sections 1 through 3, demonstrate to your lab instructor the propeller PEKit is functioning (follow the procedure in section 3). Part 2: Propeller I/O and Methods: Complete sections 4 and 5 of the PE Labs Fun Book ; I/O and Timing Basics Lab, and Methods and Cogs Lab. Demonstrate to your lab instructor completion of section 4 and section 5 Projects Part3: Propeller Objects and Counters:
