Science is a Human Process Scientific methodology is a continuous development that is always under scrutiny for correction. Constant discoveries, new revelations, fresh observations, and more recent modifications on the technical scale, contribute to the incessant adjustments to existing theories and speculations. Very few ideas become solid fact in the realm of science because of this constant revision and editing process on the basic foundations of the scientific theories themselves. One significant example that illustrates this principle of endless scientific modification is the discovery of iron-breathing magnetite-producing organisms that have now been discovered to live near the depths of the ocean floor by the hot vents that dot its surface. The new revelation of the existence of this new type of organism revises the current evolutionary theory.
