Date: September 22, 2009 Subject: Job and Grad School Application Research Job: U.S. Capital Police Officer I found the job of capital police officer while searching on usajobs.gov. The qualifications for application include being a U.S. citizen that is at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED at time of applying, and also possess a valid driver’s license. As an applicant I must also be in excellent physical shape and have 20/20 vision. A background check will also be preformed and I must have no pending or past felony convictions. The capital police want people that are mature and responsible and stress the importance of working with minimal supervision while serving the public and other members of the Congressional community. The job is located in the D.C. metro area specifically in the congressional district. They protect the people and visitors around the complex of congressional buildings as well as extending protection to elected officials and their families. Analysis
