Assume that the magnitude of the respective threshold voltages is 1V and that the maximum voltage applied is 5V [ 16 ] . Figure 1 2. For the amplifier reproduced in Figure 2: a. Draw the small signal equivalent circuit - do not ignore channel length modulation or the body effect. [ 10 ] b. Write down the equations required to derive an expression for the small signal voltage gain; include components present due to the body effect and channel length modulation. Annotate the small signal circuit where relevant. [ 20 ] c. Write down an expression for the overall voltage gain.
