Management 20000 – Introductory Financial Accounting Krannert School of Management Purdue University Spring 2011 – Final Exam – Tuesday, May 3, 2011 Lambert Fieldhouse – 10:20 am – 12:20 pm Please be sure to check the seating chart when it is posted on Katalyst to make sure you know your seat assignment before you arrive at Lambert. Although the scheduled time is 2 hours, the final exam will be 90 minutes long and will consist of four workout problems similar in format to exams 1 and 2, the homework assignments and assigned problems. The exam will cover chapters 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 of the text and related classroom material. It is your responsibility to be familiar with all this material. Chapter 11, Statement of Cash Flow, will NOT be covered on this semester’s final exam. To help guide your study you should be familiar with: - The issues involved with measuring the cost of an asset - The alternative depreciation methods: Straight-line, activity-based, and double- declining-balance - Amortization of intangibles - Disposal of long-term assets - Accounting for current liabilities and loss contingencies - Bonds payable, including issuance at a premium or discount
