Assessment Plan: EEL 3552 Analog and Digital Communications Fundamental Course Assessment Outcomes: Objective #1: A passing student shall be able to do signal representation and operations (Map 1, 5, 11 of EE Program Outcomes) Objective #2: A passing student shall be able to apply Fourier series and Fourier transform to analyze signals. (Map 1, 5, 11) Objective #3: A passing student shall be able to compute power and energy of signals and do basic filter operation (Map 1, 5, 11) Objective #4: A passing student shall be able to understand basic principle of AM, SSB and VSB transmitter and receiver operations. (Map 1, 5, 10, 11) Objective #5: A passing student shall be able to analyze the effect of frequency and phase errors in AM, SSB and VSB receivers. (Map 1, 5, 10, 11) Objective #6: A passing student shall be able to understand basic principle of FM transmitter and receiver, as well as emphasis and de-emphasis. (Map 1, 5, 10, 11)
