Elise Kim UNIV 100 9/6/2010 A) This week, I learned how to navigate through the campus by asking people for directions. They were all surprisingly nice and I was grateful that they didn’t give me the wrong directions. Now that I can go to different places without looking at the map, I’m starting to like University of Maryland even more. B) My name is Elise Kim and I am an Animal Science: Equine Studies major at University of Maryland. I am from Harrington Park, New Jersey, a small town in Bergen County and I live with my dad, mom, two younger brothers, and a dog named Sha Sha. Alex, one of my younger brothers, is autistic and is a junior in high school. Paul, my youngest brother is a freshman in high school. All of us love animals and love to spend time together by watching Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. I went to Northern Valley Old Tappan High School, a school that consists of students from four different towns, Harrington Park, Old Tappan, Norwood, and Northvale.
