This articles relates to the first module because it is talking
about when internet starting coming into this world and how it
has been impacting the world.
This article relates to the first module because it is talking
about how much people nowadays rely on the internet. Without the
internet, it seems like we cannot survive anymore. It's almost
impossible to not have internet in the world anymore.
This article relates to the first module because it is talking
about how much the internet influences the world and basically
how networks, computers, and basically everything that revolves
the internet makes the digital world come together.
The article talks about the evolving technology spreading across all forms of communications.
Skype is an up and coming form of technology and is making staying connected with people all
over the world face to face much more accessible. The YouTube video demonstrates just how
4 easy it is to have a conversation with anyone no matter their location, on Skype. All it requires is
a webcam, the internet and the program itself. Over the past century we have made such leaps
and bounds. It started with letters, which lead to phone calls, telegraphs, emails, texts and then
now we can have visual communications with people halfway across the world.
Social media is another example of the technologies we have created and really begun to utilize
in just this past decade. People are using facebook, twitter, blogs, etc to advertise, promote and
market products as well as ideas/ concepts/ opinions. This article explains how social media is
influencing the market, consumers views and companies themselves. The video following the
article explains the idea behind twitter and what it is being used for in everyday life today.
This article discusses what it takes these days to start an E-retailing business today. I think this is
extremely relevant, especially today because so many people are using the internet to initiate
their startup company. I think one of the main reasons it has been so popular is because it costs
nothing to start and can be running within an hour or so. This article, just like the ones prior
showcase just how simple technology is making all aspects of life so much easier.
Digital Technology-Today‘s Technology
This article talks about the many advances of digital technology, pertaining to today‘s society.
Module 1 talks about the evolution of technology and says, ―If the past is an indication of the
future, the digital revolution has only just begun to make its impact felt‖
( ). This article discusses the way technology
has created dramatic change (from the past to the present) and also a sense of ease and
convenience for many tasks throughout our daily lives. One of the main points from this article is
that digital technology is a main part of our lives, and I am sure most of us cannot even begin to
imagine the world without it.

Retail‟s Brave New World discusses the impacts that digital technology has had on the retail
environment and the way consumers shop. This article relates to Module 1, which talks about
―digital enterprises.‖ Retail establishments have not only used the internet in order to provide
convenience to their consumers, but they have also used online mediums to connect with and
attract consumers. Digital technologies have transformed the way consumers buy and sell
products and services. This article goes on to talk about how digital technologies will continue to

This article talks about the impact that digital technology is having on our future (the youth of
today). Although some speculations have given new technology a negative light when it comes

what it is today. Nobody can completely predict what will happen, but these people can make

obvious changes have been that iTunes and other online music stores have basically replaced
