Kate-Lynn Tetreault January 30, 2008 ENG 110 Dr. Susan McHugh Step 1 What does one think of when they are asked what funny means to them? Most of the time it is a joke, or something hilarious that happened. Comedy is a big aspect in the definition of funny; however, there are other aspects as well. Some other definitions of funny peculiar, crazy, apprehension, counterfeit, different, or just something that is plain amusing. What comes to your mind when you think of funny? When I think of the word funny I think of certain comedians, but I also think of how different things taste. I don’t like the taste of a lot of different foods; they just have something about them that tastes weird to me. Not only do some foods taste funny, but they also have really weird textures. In this sense funny means awkward. Some foods that don’t quite agree with me are limes, liver, chicken, eggs, and some fish. The textures and tastes that go along with each of these foods are unique in their own ways, but it is that uniqueness
