The most common forms of contribution were Itemized and Political Party contributions. The distribution of contributions for the three political parties held fairly constant throughout each type, as Democratic contributions were always 33%-50% higher than Republican contributions, and Libertarian contributions remained minimal in comparison to the other two parties.
