Mula, MBA BUSINESS ORGANIZATION 2 Business Organization Gazprom is a joint-stock company and is the worlds largest energy business engaged in all aspects of power generation inside and outside of Russia (Gazprom-Joint Stock Company, 2010). Gazprom is also Russias largest stock company with several thousand registered stockholders domiciled both in Russia and abroad, with shares being ordinary equities (Gazprom-Joint Stock Company, 2010). These stockholders are entitled to a percentage of Gazproms profits. Investors invest in companies like Gazprom so they can reduce their investment risks. The downside to owning stock in this kind of company is if for some reason the company were to fail, creditors can sue anyone who owns stock in Gazprom, because of unlimited liability. This means that creditors can take any personal assets the stockholders may unlimited liability....
