Since my husband and I started the company I have felt that having complete control over the company would give me the responsibility of organization and growth. Even though my husband and I are the only owners my best allies were my customers, employees, and past employers. I was able to take the knowledge I had of the trucking industry and with the help of my employees and customers and was able to learn the best and most profitable ways to make my company a success. I also was able to set goals for the company of making the business expand and grow in the near future. The business model we chose was to haul empty containers for our customers to and from Houston to make a profit. This means that Southern Sales would pick up containers from one location and drop them off at another location for use by our customers.
