Annotated Bibliography Blandino, Michelle. “Competitive Cheerleading.” Preferredconsumer.com. Preferredconsumer.com, 2011. Web. 13 Sep. 2011. Although the article seemed like it might be valid, I have never heard of the website before. Also, Blandino tends to only voice her opinion and what she thinks she knows about cheerleading without any legitimate facts. Some statements are personally skewed and not well-informed. Delp, Valorie. “History of Competitive Cheerleading.” Cheerleading.lovetoknow.com. 2011. Web. 11 Sep. 2011. This article gives more detailed information about past and present ways of competitive cheerleading; it also gives ideas of what is to come in the future. However there are a few statements that I feel are somewhat uninformed as not all cheerleading injuries happen during competition and she does not mention anything about UCA, Varsity, or USA Cheer which are the most influential and powerful cheerleading companies today.
