Unformatted text preview: Getting your MIPS program to lectura To use the provided testing script, you will need to copy your MIPS program to lectura. This page contains the instructions for copying your program from the CS department Windows systems, and from home computers (Windows, Linux, Mac). From CS department Ubuntu machines: • Starting assumption: you are logged into a Ubuntu system in one of the CS department computer labs. • Open your home folder by selecting “Places” from the top menu bar, then “Home Folder”. • I suggest that you create two folders in your Home Folder. The ¡rst folder will be named 252 . The second folder will be inside 252 and named prog1 . I will assume below that you are using 252/prog1 . You may use different names. If you do, substitute those names for 252/prog1 in what follows. • For future programs, create a folder for each assignment. I.e., 252/prog2 , 252/prog3 , etc. • Copy your prog1.s to the 252/prog1 directory. If you have your program on a thumb drive, you can attach the drive to the computer. A new window should appear that shows the contents of your thumb drive. • Copy your prog1.s ¡le to 252/prog1 directory by dragging it into the 252/prog1 folder in your home directory....
