Ricardo Ruiz-Gonzalez Jr. 2/17/12 Phil 101 Sec.-004 Staying Alive My choice for round one was to take the spaceship. The reason I decided to take the spaceship was because I could not imagine my brain and body being destroyed and then replicated. There is only one of me and only one of my mind. If I was replicated than I wouldn’t be the original. What makes me different of everybody else is that there is only one of me and iam unique and that gives me my identity. For round two I choose to let the virus do its worse. I would not want to become a robot. I already had to lose all my limbs and become more machine than humane. And if I was to undergo the surgery I would be replacing my brain with silicon chips. After the surgery I would be completely more machine and robot like. My memories along with my humanity would be preserved in a machine. I would no longer be humane in the physical form and that is what makes us humane. The ability to feel pain and pleasure is done through the body and mind and
