TheDSM-5 has replaced these disorders involving thinking and other cognitive domains withcategories of mild and major neurocognitive disorders. The main distinction between the two isthat in its mild form, a neurocognitive disorder does not significantly affect the ability ofindividuals to perform their daily activities (Sadock et al., 2014).
