There was some political bias in the fact that the speaker blamed everything on his opponent when more times than not there are more reasons than just that. The issues of politics are very complicated there are many things that can contribute to the issues. There are usually too many indicators to blame it on one thing, or one person. The speaker used ad hominem in the fact that he attacked his opponent directly and not his opponent’s actions. The speaker kept referring to his opponent as the boss man. This would imply that his opponent was involved with the mob or something without coming out and saying it directly. He used innuendo and scare tactics to get the listeners to respond. He implied illegal activities, but he never mentioned anything specific. The speaker also used scare tactics to imply what might happen if “the boss man” remained in power. The speaker used scapegoating to address his opponent and not the issue. The speaker never did address the real issue he merely attacked his
