Coming of Age in NJ It is full of student voices: naive and worldly-wise, vulgar and polite, cynical, humorous, and sometimes even idealistic. But it is also about American culture more generally: individualism, friendship, community, bureaucracy, diversity, race, sex, gender, intellect, work, and play.

Religious Intervention S.J.O.C. Saint Joseph of Cupertino was an Italian Franciscan friar who is honored as a mystic and a saint. He was said to have been remarkably unclever, but prone to miraculous levitation and intense ecstatic visions that left him gaping. In turn, he is recognized as the patron saint of air travelers, aviators, astronauts, test takers, and poor students.

S.J.O.C. Prayer “Saint Joseph of Cupertino, who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked on your exams only the questions which you knew, obtain for me a like favor in the exam for which I am now preparing or am about to take.”

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
