STAT 301 Spring 2012 Instructor: Mary Ellen Bock 1 st day of class to-do list: 1. Read over syllabus and schedule. 2. Go to the STAT 301 course website: www.stat.purdue.edu/~csorola/stat301 and read over the additional information there so that you’ll know where to find important resources later. 3. Go to Mary Ellen Bock’s lecture website (under “Lecture Links” from the course website) and print off the Chapter 3 lecture notes. (Return to do this later as more lectures become available.) You will need to bring the correct handout with you to class each time, or else it will be very hard to keep up in class! You will need the Chapter 3 notes for the first two weeks of classes. 4. Register with Perdisco Online Homework ( www.perdisco.com ). Look at the first homework assignment. Read the Perdisco Homework Instructions on the course website.
