Unformatted text preview: EXP 3604 Assignment #1 NAME Allison Wronka Hypothesis Using the video Movie Perception Test I will test the effect of being told about changes beforehand on change blindness. The video consists of two women, Sabrina and Andrea, discussing a surprise party. The video has six intentional editing mistakes. I will change one variable and that is being told that there are editing mistakes before watching the video. My independent variable is whether or not participants are told about the editing mistakes before watching the video. The dependent variable is the percent of mistakes the participant detects. The percent of detection is how many mistakes they detected out of the six. My hypothesis is that the group of participants that are told to watch out for mistakes before watching the video will have a higher detection percentage than the group of participants who are not told about the mistake.
