Questions 1) 147 students took Exam 1. 2) 30 questions were on the exam. 3) The lowest score earned on the exam was an 11 out of 30. 4) The mean score on the exam was a 22.98 out of 30. The median score was a 23.5 out of 30. I think the median score is higher than the mean score because of an un-equal distribution of the amount of extremely low grades compared to the amount of extremely high grades in that there were more extremely low grades than high ones. 5) The standard deviation for this data set is 3.66 points, which represents the amount in original units that a typical or standard observation deviates from the mean. 6) The variance for this data set is 13.43. The sum-of-squares is 1960.207534
