Asian Americans Course (HUM 2514-13877) Spring 2012 Guidelines for Oral Presentation proposal paragraph, due 3/27/12 Given below are guidelines for  Oral Presentations  scheduled for  April 17  through May 1, 2012 . Remember that you will be presenting your work in   class , in about  8-10 minutes,  including  set-up time, comments,  suggestions, questions from myself and the class. I will give you the order  of presentation later, but it will be alphabetical , with around  6  students  presenting on each day.  You will be graded on 1) a focused  presentation, with an argument or  thesis; 2) good supporting information; 3) clarity in presentation, how well  you get your point across, how well you educate  your audience about your  topic, its pertinence to our course. (You may use Index cards during your  presentation). You are encouraged to use visuals for your presentation, such as posters,
