Please answer in short (1-2 paragraphs) essays, using equations and figures as necessary. Clearly enumerate your answers. Try not to use more than half a page per answer. Extra blank pages will be available upon request. There are five parts to this exam, with 2 questions for each part. This exam is worth 30% of the course marks (thus question points sum to 30). What is the amplitude, frequency and wavelength of a sound wave and how are these features related? (3 pts) 2. What is phase? What does it mean for two signals to be in or out of phase? How is phase commonly measured? (3 pts)
