Esther Kang My name, Esther Kang, was chosen by my grandfather on my father's side. He chose the first name "Esther" because he wanted to name me after Queen Esther, the main character of the book of Esther from the Old Testament in the Bible. Currently, I am a second year pharmacy student in the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. Although I am still in my pre-professional years, I love being in the pharmacy program and can't wait until I begin working as a pharmacist. I've always had an affinity for the Hispanic Language and wanted to minor in it, but my large workload has prevented me from doing so. In my spare time, I try to practice speaking Spanish and re-memorize Spanish vocabulary words I may have forgotten. Although I am unable take Spanish courses at Rutgers, I will continue to expand my knowledge of the Spanish Language. Additionally, in the future, I hope to go to Westminster Theological Seminary and study biblical counseling after I become a pharmacist. Christianity
