Carly Geller Entomology Goodman 2/27/12 Healthy Living I am and have always been very conscious of what I put into my body. By no means do I “diet,” however, I do watch what I eat. It is important to me that I care for my body, both internally and externally. This is shown through my healthy eating habits as well as my consistent exercise schedule that I follow. I do believe that this will result in positive effects on my future health. After reviewing the USDA guidelines, I have come to realize that, for the most part, I do a pretty decent job of following them. An equal balance of whole grains, protein, fruits, vegetables, sugars, and sodium are required for healthy living. Of course, I do admit that I succumb to junk food here and there and have occasionally failed to use moderation with my alcohol intake, however, for the most part, my lifestyle and eating habits accurately follow those of which the USDA labels “healthy.” Following the USDA guidelines for nutrition and a healthy lifestyle is
