Carly Geller 2/28/12 ES112 Danny Spitzberg Big Actions Reaction #6 We have a responsibility to change the world. We have a responsibility to do something. We have a responsibility to take action. If nothing is changed, do we really want to see what the outcome will be? Global warming also known as global climate change has been a prominent topic of discussion lately. It appears in everything from political campaigns to pop culture to discussions in the classroom to advertisements. Since it is so apparent in our everyday life, wouldn’t that indicate to the world’s citizens that global warming is a serious issue? However, it does not seem that we are making any big changes since parts per million are supposed to surpass 400 by May 2014. There is no doubt that change is in order. We have been doing a lot of small tasks that cut emissions that one would think “we’re having a green revolution. But if you look at where we have to go in the next ten years, we’re having a party.” (207
