Carly Geller 1/25/12 Entomology Goodman Interaction with an insect. A Ropes Course To Remember I will start off by saying that I am not the fondest person of insects. The fact that I, as a human being, am thousands of time larger in size than insects should result in the insects being scared of me. However, this is not the case. I am afraid of these tiny, mostly noiseless, and sometimes harmless creatures. Some of my most vivid memories of summer camp as a child was running away from bees as I was attempting to enjoy my popsicle on a hot day or trying to capture the yellow jackets that would invade the red punch pitcher under a plastic cup during lunch. An especially clear memory that I have when thinking about summer day camp occurred in the year 2000 as an eight-year-old little girl. It was a beautiful day at my sleep away camp, Timber Ridge, in Highland West Virginia. After the normal morning routine of raising the flag, eating breakfast, and
