Introduction It s impossible to think of electronic circuits without so me forms of feedback. Negative feedback Ø Desensitize the gain Ø Reduce nonlinear distortion Ø Reduce the effect of noise Ø Control the input and output impedance Ø Extend the bandwidth of the amplifier The basic idea of negative feedback is to trade off between gain and other desirable properties. Positive feedback will cause the amplifier oscillation.
