CATERPILLAR, INC. LIVE CASE PROJECT SELLING SCENARIO RESEARCH INSTRUCTION MANUAL OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVE The Caterpillar, Inc. Live Case Project is a unique educational partnership between Caterpillar, Inc. and the Purdue School of Management that brings a real-world dimension to the MGMT324 course. For the CAT project sales scenario, students will be assigned to teams in which they will work together to research and design their own selling scenario. (See the next page). Each selling team is to prepare an 5-7 minute professional presentation that will describe the selling situation that they wish to use based upon the information available.
