The window Object window object - Every web browser window is represented by a window object. Commonly used window methods: alert(), confirm(), prompt() - Simple dialogs resizeTo(), resizeBy() - Change the window size moveTo(), moveBy() - Change the window location open() - Create a blank window or a new window with a specified URL print() - Print the window or frame (same as the File/Print command of the window.) setInterval(), clearInterval() - Schedule or cancel a function to be invoked Commonly used window properties: status - The text that appears in the status bar document - The document object location - The URL of the current document Can be set to load a new document
