Instructions for bank reconciliation Identify any reconciling items and record the relevant reconciling items in the appropriate journals. The following are to be posted to ledger accounts daily: All entries affecting subsidiary ledgers All entries in the Other Accounts column of the cash receipts and cash payments journals Total the Cash at Bank columns in the special journals. Record the total in the bottom line of each journal. Post the total of the Cash at Bank columns in the special journals to their corresponding ledger account. To confirm that the posting has been performed, a posting reference is recorded in the last row of the special journals. Prepare the bank reconciliation statement as at 30 June. Please note that any answers from previous pages carried through onto this page (either on the page or in a popup information page) are the correct answers, not your particular answers.
