Marketing has an interesting effect on a business, when performed correctly; marketing is a super tool for your product. I see marketing as a way to show off your product, giving you an opportunity to reach out to the customers you want to sell your item to and get the most amount of buys possible. This is how you know that the customer has had their needs fulfilled with your product. The most common item talked about is the new iPad 2, which most people would know what that is even though may not own one yet. People are very excited to have one, which gives it high expectations to satisfy the consumer. I know that marketing is used in sales as a way to enhance this area, as in to see better results. It is used as if it is part of a math problem and they are figuring out variables that make it the largest number in the end as possible. In a business, they spend a lot of money in marketing, preparing for the product to make back what they invested and hopefully more. This is how they can plan for expansions, new items, upgrades to existing and other future planning. With little to no marketing for any
