Microsoft has set up, within the organization and on top of regular morals and standards, a standard for business conduct. They have tried to set up a company that complies with the laws and regulations set in place to preserve their reputation with employees, customers and stakeholders alike. Microsoft is a very well-known and well to do company, this means that they must be conducting business correctly to be where they are now. Here is a sample to their Standards of Business Conduct: Regulatory Compliance: We are aware of and obey the laws and regulations that govern the global management of our business. We are responsible for understanding these laws and regulations as they apply to our jobs and for preventing, detecting, and reporting instances of non-compliance to a member of Microsoft management, Human Resources, Legal and Corporate Affairs, the Director of Compliance, or the Business Conduct Line.
