When having to examine the positive and negative reactions to the use of certain controls for McDonald’s, it usually comes down to the organization itself. When looking into financial controls, which include financial targets and where managers are held responsible for them. When managers are on top of all their work, the organization can run efficiently. Managers must remain focused on either tasks or clientele that make or break business. One positive reaction would be an increase in assets available or even a larger spending budget for the building. A negative reaction could be wasteful spending or even a loss on the sheets that involves downsizing or layoffs. Quality control, which is the quality of goods and service that are offered to the customers, may be a larger part to McDonald’s than anything else. They must sell their products and make sure that people keep coming back for more. When quality control is at its top, people will enjoy their meals, plus expect the next time to be just as good.
