3 History of HRM Human Resource Management, otherwise known as HRM, is a very demanding part of organizations. It is considered the meat and potatoes of many businesses because it effects how everything is ran, whether it be smooth, or choppy. HRM is key in the economy, because they recognize people who want to work, and people who take their jobs for granted. HRM has changed rapidly over the past century since technology has touched the world. No longer are they running off of pony express, but by email, and conference calls. HRM is a type of resource that many businesses cannot do without. It is a necessity for a huge corporation to hold such as department, though many small businesses do not.
