Class 101 1. How does the writing process you read about in this class differ from the process you have used in the past? The writing process that I read about in this class differ from the process that I have been used to in the past is that we have the center for writing excellence that we can look at different types of grammar and writing resources. When I was in school we had the teacher to assist you and we also had after school tutorials. We didn’t have online tools to use. Today’s technology has made it easier to get help when writing a research paper or essay. 2. Which step in the writing process is easiest for you to complete? Which step is the most difficult? The easiest writing process for me is prewriting or brainstorming because all I am doing is writing down my thoughts about my subject on paper. Which step is the most difficult? The difficult step in writing to me is creating a thesis statement because I am not a good writer, so I don’t really know what would grab the reader attention. I will have to try to sum the thesis in one

Why do you think each author chose that type of organization for his or her essay? In what ways does this organization choice make the essay effective?
