Solid-liquid Extraction: 1. Record the mass of 2 tea bags (average mass of single empty bag ~0.2g). 2. Place tea inside a 100 mL beaker. 3. add ~0.8 g of calcium carbonate, 15 mL of water, 1 boiling chip. 4. Cover with a watch glass and bring to a gentle boil for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. 5. Allow to cool to room temperature. 6. Extract maximum amount of solution from tea bag by applying pressure. 7. Allow any solids to settle, extract liquid to centrifuge tube using a plastic pipette. 8.
