What system are we using for program development? for editing, compiling, executing and debugging. It is installed in the LRC labs and assistance for it is provided by the TAs. You may use any other software that will enable you to write and execute C programs (such as gcc on Linux), but you will be mostly on your own. The LRC software configuration in the standard C mode will be used for grading EE312 assignments. How do I turn in code? We will use Assignment Manager from Blackboard [aka BB] for submitting completed programs. A step-by-step guide is available on the BB web page: http :// www . utexas . edu / academic / blackboard / tutorials / The tutorial is called Uploading an Assignment in the For Students . . . section. Be sure to perform a submit and not an upload. The assignment manager will only accept one submission per student per assignment, so make sure that you only submit your final version of the program. Some labs have a written component, which has to be turned in in the form of hardcopy to the TAs. How do I contact the TAs? TAs hold office hours in ENS307. Please see their calendar linked above. You may also contact them via email at or by posting a question at the Piazza class discussion forum. Where do I get my own copy of Visual Studio 2010? You can get it for free from https :// www . dreamspark . com / . Dreamspark is Microsoft’s dedicated website to distribute the company’s software to students for free. Go to Dreamspark’s homepage, and click on the “Visual Studio 2010” icon under “Developer & Designer Tools”. On the next page, click on “Get Verified”. You’ll
