BOOK REVIEW Book Review I decided to write about the section on corn in the book, as it interested me so much. Since reading the book I have done some research on my own regarding various items, mostly food items, which are made with or use corn in some way. I discovered that many food products utilize corn as a basic formulation-stabilizing agent, as well as using it for the foundation of many processed food items. The way the book describes the use of corn is honestly quite amazing I thought. Additionally, the descriptive nature of the many items made with corn, which is outlined well in the book is informative and enlightening. My expectations in the book, as well as this particular section were to realize a somewhat informed understanding of the many uses of corn, and to find out how corn is made into innumerable products, which I discovered, is true. Through reading the book, and specifically this chapter of the book, I am aware; now that corn is used in so many ways, it is difficult to
