Topic: The Omnivore’s Dilemma examines American food production both industrially and organically, showing organically produced food is much healthier. Research Question: How much healthier is organic food and is it feasible to produce organic food on a large scale? Working thesis statement: Industrial food production is very bad for humans and animals alike and should not be used. Organic food is a great deal healthier and can be produced to feed every American. Research plan: I plan on conducting research through the jstor database. This database contains a great deal of peer-reviewed articles that deal with the various aspects of food production as well as its effects on our environment. I. For the introduction I plan on providing an example of the harms that industrially produced food can have on the individual. My working thesis statement follows:

Organic food is a great deal healthier and can be produced to feed every American. II. Industrial food should not be used because it is bad for the health of the humans and animals that consume it. III. Industrial food should not be used because it wreaks havoc on the environment. For example, corn saps nearly all the nutrients from the soil in which it is reaped. IV. Organic food should be the sole method of production because it is much better for the people that eat it. V. Organic food should replace industrial food because it treats animals and the environment more humanely. VI. If we dont change our food production, the environment as well as the human population will suffer ill effects....
