Food production, although a necessity, is seriously damaging the environment. It causes our water and air to become polluted, creates hazardous waste along with normal refuse that fills our landfills, and it releases harmful greenhouse gasses into the environment. We cannot stop producing food so we need to look for alternative ways of production that are less harmful to our planet and all that live here.
