Introduction The purpose of this lab was to measure the current, voltage, and resistance of a circuit, then determine the direction of the current flow and calculate the power produced by each battery and the power dissipated by the resistors. In addition to these, the purpose was also to learn how to use Kirchoff’s law to calculate theoretical current and voltage drop. Procedure Equipments used Circuit board DMM Wires Batteries Resistors During the lab, first the resistance of each resistor was measured by connecting the black wire to the COM terminal and the red wire to the other terminal of the DMM, and then the ends of the wires were connected to the terminals of the resistors. Then the circuit was set on the circuit board as shown on the diagram of the lab handout. After the circuit was set, the current and the voltage drop of each resistor were measured.
