Part 4—Channel of distribution The multi-functional bed belongs to large furniture, so we choose the selective distribution as our distribution channel. Our target market aims at boarding school students, employers’ flats in some companies, youth motels and people with low income in urban and rural areas. These people account for a large percentage, so it is a great demand in these markets. At least, the boarding schools are our stable and potential market because of the low price and multifunction. Through our research, BaiAnYiJia and Red Star Macalline are the two largest retailers of furniture in Nantong. But the products they sell are almost medium and high grade manufactured goods direct at rich families and they charge more fees and their markup is too high to result in adding the budget overmuch and decreasing the sales volume .
