Protein ~ 1500 ATP a.iii. DNA ~ 120,000,000 ATP b. Humans need about 10^25 ATP/day b.i. Billion ATP per cell – without regeneration, it would be used up in 2 minutes D. How to get ATP a. Aerobic respiration – provides energy for ATP synthesis a.i. C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H20 12 H20 + 6CO2 + energy
